Information collected through this website and enquiries

When you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide, such as your name, telephone number, email address, business activity and the contents of your enquiry. We also retain our correspondence with you.

Website hosting and security systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and the time of a visit. Please see our Cookies page.

The free online Finance Check

To receive your result, you provide your first name and either an email address or mobile/WhatsApp number. When you submit, we receive these details, your questionnaire answers, the generated result, submission date and reference, your optional marketing choice and any Financial Review enquiry you make. These are held in a private WordPress enquiry inbox accessible to authorised Keepmore administrators, supported by our hosting provider. Refreshing the page clears the browser view but does not delete the submitted record. No identity documents or detailed financial records are requested by this check.

We use this information to provide the free check, send your PDF by email where selected and respond to a review enquiry you request. Mobile/WhatsApp follow-up is manual; selecting it does not trigger an automatic WhatsApp message. A downloaded PDF is also held on your device. The result is generated from your answers as initial guidance, not a verified financial assessment or an automated decision about eligibility for services.

Marketing is a separate, optional, unticked choice and is not required to receive your result. If you opt in, we record your choice and the wording shown; you can withdraw it at any time using our contact details above. Service messages about your requested result are separate from marketing. We use short-lived, hashed network identifiers and submission limits to help prevent abuse; ordinary hosting and security logs also apply.

Why we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond, discuss the support you are interested in and, where requested, prepare a quote or take steps towards a contract. For individual prospective clients, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

For business representatives and general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to relevant communications and running the business. We also rely on legitimate interests to maintain website security, handle complaints and protect our legal rights, and on legal obligations where applicable.

If you ask to join our launch enquiry list, we use your details to provide the update you requested. Optional wider marketing will be sent only with consent where required. You can withdraw consent or ask us to stop at any time.

Who receives information

Information is handled by Keepmore and the providers needed to run the website and communications, including IONOS for hosting, our email service provider and WhatsApp/Meta if you choose that channel. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for a legal duty, complaint or claim. We do not sell your personal information.

A WhatsApp button opens an external service. Its provider’s privacy terms apply to your use of that service. Please avoid sending detailed financial records or identity documents with your first enquiry.

International processing

Our communications providers may process information outside the UK. Where a transfer is our responsibility, an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards must be in place. The providers’ privacy notices explain their international processing. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

Finance Check submissions and unsuccessful enquiries are normally kept for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to remain in contact for longer or a legal issue requires retention. Launch-list details are kept until the requested update has been provided or you withdraw your request, subject to retaining a limited record where needed to demonstrate your preference.

If you become a client, we will provide the privacy information relevant to client work, financial records and legal retention duties as part of onboarding.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and may object to certain uses. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the details above.

You do not have to provide enquiry information, but without contact details and enough context we may be unable to respond. This website does not offer automated decisions about your eligibility for services.

You can raise a concern with us and have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
